If you are relying on Pinterest for traffic, then you know that you need to create good-looking vertical pins to attract viewers on Pinterest. You know that it’s time-consuming to create a pin from scratch. There are times when you run out of ideas and you end up creating crappy pins. Or sometimes you have ideas for a pin but you don’t know how to create it or because it would be time-consuming to create them. That’s where Canva can help you. It can help you save time in creating eye-catching Pinterest pins. Their pre-made Pinterest pin templates are excellent sources for ideas when creating your pins. Using Canva online is so easy. Just select a template, drag, and drop some elements, graphics, and text and you’re done. You can also create animated pins as well as video pins with Canva online just as easily. And if you choose to create your pins without using their pre-made templates, you can always start with a blank one.
I’ve been using Canva online for a few months now. At first, I was using their free version and I really liked it a lot. Although the free version got me started in creating good looking pins, I’ve noticed that a lot of people are using the same templates I was using. And there are limitations to what you can do with the free version. As you know, Pinterest loves fresh pins. So, I decided to sign-up for the Canva Pro version. They offer a free trial for 7 days. I figured, why not, if I didn’t like it, I can always cancel.
We’ll that was the best decision I’ve ever made for my Pinterest marketing strategy. Now I really love using Canva online. I used to create my pins with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. They are great tools too but they are more complicated to use compared to Canva. It used to take me at least half an hour just to create one pin with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. But with Canva Pro, I can create a pin for less than 10 minutes. I’m getting so good at it that I can create a pin in just 2 minutes or less these days. I barely use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create pins anymore. Using Canva online is so easy and fun, you’d love it.
Creating good-looking pins is key to Pinterest marketing. Since I’ve started using Canva online, I’ve been able to create numerous fresh pins in such a short time. As a result, these fresh pins increased my Pinterest impressions, saves, and link clicks. When I started pinning to Pinterest, most of my pins were ugly and boring. They were barely getting 100 impressions per pin. Now, two months later, with the help of Canva online, I’m able to pin good-looking and larger vertical pins, the types that Pinterest likes. These larger vertical pins are now getting on average over 1,000 impressions per pin. Some of my pins are getting over 4,000 impressions during the first few days of pinning them.
I don’t only create Pinterest pins with Canva online, I use it for other purposes also. I use it to create the blog covers for this site. With Canva, I can create the graphics that I need for my blogs easily. Most of the graphics I use on this site were created with Canva online.
Here are some examples of the good-looking and larger vertical pins that I created with Canva Pro:
So, if you are serious about your Pinterest marketing, I suggest you start using Canva online to create your good looking pins. If you can, sign up for the Canva Pro version. It will give you so many more features than the free version. There is so much more to Canva than just for creating Pinterest pins and blog covers and graphics. It’s a great tool for Pinterest Marketers for sure but there are other uses for it. Try it out for free and explore Canva online for yourself.
Anyhow, I hope that this blog has helped you somehow in your effort to become successful in your Pinterest marketing effort. Canva sure helps me a lot with mine.
